Development of the entire Railyard area is expected to take 5-10 years. Once the infrastructure has been put in place, traffic improvements made, and the first phase completed, the groundwork will be set for future phases to be built.

To ensure that the Railyard meets the needs of the downtown, future phases will be dictated by market conditions and the needs of the Town. For that reason, exact timing, architecture, and development are not finalized. What is certain, however, is that all development in the Railyard will be within the overall goals of creating a pedestrian friendly neighborhood that strengthens the downtown and provides more workforce housing.
